Bridging the gap between great products and services and local audiences.

Why I started this Service

I started this service because I kept seeing amazing products and services being promoted in the UAE and GCC but the message wasn’t landing. Many videos lacked commentary in our Emirati dialect, and as a result, the content felt distant and disconnected from the local audience.

Some tried to use AI-generated voice overs, but they sounded robotic and unnatural. Others had non-Emiratis attempting to speak in the dialect, but it came off awkward or inauthentic.

I realized there was a need for genuine, culturally a curate voice overs, something that feels familiar, build trust, and truly represents the tone of our region. I want to help brands speak the way people in the UAE actually speak. With warmth, clarity and authenticity.

This is not only about voice, it is about making sure the message connects.

Emirati dialect vs Classical Arabic - what is the difference?

When it comes to voice overs, choosing the right Arabic tone can make all the difference in how your message is received.

  Emirati Dialect

The Emirati dialect is the spoken language of the UAE and widely understood across GCC countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, and Qatar. It’s warm, personal, and culturally rooted — the kind of voice that feels familiar and trustworthy to local audiences.

If you’re targeting Emirati or Gulf consumers, using this dialect can help your message feel natural, relatable, and local. .

Best for:

  • UAE-based audiences

  • GCC customers

  • Social media videos aimed at locals

  • Brands that want to sound authentic and close to the community

Classical Arabic

Classical Arabic is the formal, written version of Arabic used in news, education, and official communication. It’s widely understood across the entire Arab world, from North Africa to the Levant, but it sounds more neutral and formal than local dialects.

While it’s less personal than the Emirati dialect, it’s perfect for reaching non-GCC Arabic-speaking audiences or when a more universal, professional tone is needed.

Best for:

  • Pan-Arab audiences

  • Non-GCC regions (e.g., Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco)

  • Formal campaigns, reports, and educational content

Choosing the Right Voice

At Shagra FZE, we help you decide whether your video needs the friendly, local touch of the Emirati dialect or the broad reach of Classical Arabic — depending on who you’re speaking to.
